Rock Hall Class of 2026 to be inducted November 14
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation unveiled this year’s inductees during a themed episode of American Idol, with Ryan Seacrest and 2022 inductee Lionel Richie making the announcement. Honored in the Performer Category are Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross, and Wu-Tang Clan. The Early Influence Award will be presented to Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, and Gram Parsons. The Musical Excellence Award recipients are Linda Creed, Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller, and Rick Rubin, while Ed Sullivan will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award posthumously. The 2026 Induction Ceremony will take place Saturday, November 14 in Los Angeles and will air on ABC, with streaming available on Disney+ in December.

Swift—the most awarded artist in AMAs history—could extend her record-setting 40 wins with eight nominations, including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (The Life of a Showgirl), and Song of the Year (“The Fate of Ophelia”). She also scored nods for Best Music Video (“The Fate of Ophelia”), Song of the Summer (“Elizabeth Taylor”), Best Female Pop Artist, Best Pop Song (“The Fate of Ophelia”), and Best Pop Album (The Life of a Showgirl). Morgan Wallen and Sabrina Carpenter follow with seven nominations each. Breakout artists Olivia Dean and SOMBR also make a strong showing in their first year, earning seven nods apiece and facing off in key categories including New Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Breakthrough Album of the Year. The winners will be revealed when Queen Latifah hosts the ceremony live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS and Paramount+.
