Actor Dennis Quaid stopped by the LifeMinute studios once again, this time with a special guest in tow—his dog Peaches, who happily roamed the set and nearly stole the spotlight. Between laughs and puppy moments, Quaid opened up about his latest movie, new music, and a recent ride aboard Air Force One.

Quaid is currently promoting the action-packed sci-fi thriller War Machine, directed by Patrick Hughes and starring Alan Ritchson. The film follows a group of Army Ranger recruits whose final training mission turns into a fight for survival after encountering a mysterious and deadly force in the wilderness. Shot in Australia, Quaid says the movie brings back the feel of the big, high-octane action films of the 1980s.

Quaid is also making waves in music. His song “On My Way to Heaven” features an all-star lineup including Tanya Tucker, Brandi Carlile, and the late Kris Kristofferson in one of his final recordings before his 2024 passing. The track is set to debut at the legendary Grand Ole Opry this June.

Beyond acting and music, he recently launched his own production company, Bonniedale in 2021, alongside his wife Laura, and is developing several new projects.

He also filled us in on what he does when he’s not working, like playing golf with President Trump, and flying on Air Force One. We covered it all and so much more.

This is a LifeMinute with Dennis Quaid.
